COOKREW an open-source spatial workspace for AI agents

Cookrew / Features / harnesses

Run Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi in one team

A harness is an agent CLI Cookrew knows how to host, watch and dispatch to. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi ship as presets; each declares its capabilities in Cookrew’s registry, so orchestration is the same command line whatever answers.

How it looks

  1. 1

    The harness picker, Shell chosen

    The harness picker, Shell chosen
    ● RECPressed TERMINAL in the dock over the live canvas and chose SHELL: the picker shows the five harnesses Cookrew ships — Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi and a plain shell — then the teams saved on this machine, then + IMPORT A TEAM.
  2. 2

    Claude Code chosen

    Claude Code chosen
    ● RECChose CLAUDE CODE in the same picker: the lit chip moved from Shell to Claude Code, and the next click on the canvas would place an agent on that harness. The crew behind it is already mixed — Codex and Pi answer on this board too.
  3. 3

    Import a team, opened

    Import a team, opened
    ● RECPressed + IMPORT A TEAM: the sheet opened over the canvas with its address field, the teams saved on this machine under it, and — under those — the seats this account already holds, including one granted at @drej/cookrew-alpha.

Questions about harnesses

Can I add a harness Cookrew does not ship?

A harness is a registry entry that declares how it starts, how its turns are detected and what it can do. New ones are added there without touching call sites.

Cookrew is an open-source desktop workspace for running a team of AI coding agents on one canvas. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi side by side, records every agent turn as a checkpoint, and can serve a saved team at a cookrew.dev address where anyone can open a live session from a browser or from the Cookrew app. Source on GitHub ↗
