COOKREW an open-source spatial workspace for AI agents

Cookrew / Features / board

The Board: every agent’s phase, tokens and checkpoint on one screen

The Board is Cookrew’s fleet view: one row per agent across workspaces with its phase (working, waiting, unread, offline), token use and latest checkpoint, filterable by preset and role, with notes, forks and session cards folded into a searchable activity stream.

    ● RECSwitched the header to BOARD and narrowed it to this workspace: one row per agent with its harness, role and workspace chips, the prompt it was last given, what it answered and its checkpoint count — and the note the crew wrote, folded into the same stream.

    ● RECClicked the SITE SHOOT chip in the Board’s facet bar: the roster dropped from the whole fleet to the five agents in this workspace, and CLEAR appeared at the head of the bar.

    ● RECTyped roundTo into the Board’s search: one agent of 721 answered, with the checkpoint the hit landed in and the words around it — read from the agent’s own transcript, not from a log.

Questions about board

Does the Board work for offline agents?

Yes. An agent with no live pane shows as offline with its last checkpoint; its history is still there.

Workspaces and saved teams: one project, one crew

Switching a workspace switches the whole team and the whole canvas. Create one from a saved template and a full crew is on duty at once.

Cookrew is an open-source desktop workspace for running a team of AI coding agents on one canvas. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi side by side, records every agent turn as a checkpoint, and can serve a saved team at a cookrew.dev address where anyone can open a live session from a browser or from the Cookrew app. Source on GitHub ↗
